Bayon Temple Region — A flurry of compassionate messages from concerned citizens has led to the successful rescue of a baby monkey named Lisa, who was found abandoned and unable to walk due to a broken leg. The rescue center, responding to numerous requests for assistance, dispatched a team to locate and assess the distressed animal. Upon arrival, rescuers discovered Lisa frightened and hesitant to approach. After two days of careful attempts, they successfully captured her on the third day. A subsequent examination revealed that her left leg was swollen and broken.

The rescue center promptly contacted local authorities and completed the necessary paperwork to facilitate Lisa's medical treatment. They have since reached out to the public for donations to help cover the costs of her care, emphasizing that every contribution makes a significant difference in their mission to rehabilitate animals in need.

In a recent update, the rescue center reported that Lisa's surgery was successful, and she is now resting comfortably as she begins her recovery. The veterinary team is closely monitoring her progress, and early indications suggest she is learning to use her leg again.
